GLOUCESTER, Dec. 24, 1896. -The annual meeting of the Firemen's Relief Association was held last night at the City Hall in this city. The old board then adjourned sine die.
The new board organized with the following officers:-President, Ralph McDermott; Secretary, James Aughenbaugh; Treasurer, Patrick Mealey; Collector, Joseph R. Farquhar. The representative of the Exempt Firemen's Association appeared, but the relief association representative refused to meet them, claiming them illegally elected.
