Savannah, May 30. By the arrival of the British Royal mail steamer Conway, we have Jamaica dates to the 23d of May. The yellow fever still continued, and Wm Gillet, the purser of the steamer Medway, had died of the disease.
The disagreement between the House and Government had assumed an alarming aspect, the House having again refused to vote the appropriation bill. The Assembly was prorogued on the 23d, and it was stated that the Government had threatened to turn loose the convicts and disband the police, for the want of means for their support.
