NEW LONDON
July 4.

Last Wednesday Capt. Ezekiel Rogers in sloop, returned from Huntington, Long Island, has sent a flag from this port, and delivered a British prisoner on board the ship Swan, and on his return off Say Brook, he was boarded by a small sloop, tender to the British sloop Halifax, the commander of which put Capt. Rogers and his people into the vessel's hold, and proceeded with his sloop as far as Huntington; and when they came in sight of the Swan they let him go, after plundering him.
