THE DAILY WORKER FIGHTS:
FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF THE UNORGANIZED
FOR A LABOR PARTY
FOR A 40-HOUR WEEK
VIENNA, June 17. -- The pressure of world-wide agitation against the extradition of the Communist leader, Bela Kun, to Hungary, is believed to be responsible for a report here that Kun would soon be released. His execution by the reactionary terrorist government of Hungary is considered certain if he is sent to that country.
The report of an "expected" release, which emanates from ministerial circles here, is probably not based upon any real intention to free the noted prisoner, but is very likely only an effort of the Austrian government to quiet the agitation which has produced some embarrassment to the government. It is not even claimed that the Communist leader of the Hungarian workers will be turned loose immediately, the government stating that he will first be given a short term in prison for passport irregularities.
