ARRIVES HERE ON FIELD TRIP

Mrs. Ernestine McKay, social worker for the Alaska Native Service, arrived in Seldovia this week to begin her first field trip for ANS.

Mrs. McKay is headquartered at Seward and is to work in the area which extends along the Railbelt to Anchorage, the coastal section of Alaska to Cordova and Valdez and westward to the Alaska peninsula.

She explained that her work is concerned principally with the underprivileged children in native homes.

Mrs. McKay will go to Port Graham from Seldovia, and is scheduled to visit Kodiak later, weather permitting.
