Full Text

PHILADELPHIA, May 1.

The British army on the European continent has for some time past been hid in a fog; we receive this day however an account of the issue of their late change of position; they have reached Osnaburg and have taken an advantageous post there no doubt. Their only loss during this military evolution has been a few men disabled by being frost bitten. They lost nothing by the fire of the Sans Culottes, but swear terribly at the injury they have received from the new general entitled order the republican banners, viz. general Frost, who not only occasioned their falling back from their former position but pursued them, it seems, on their route.
