News from a letter in Barbados. Uncertain target, but a person from Guadaloupe said inhabitants built huts in mountains, moved valuables, expecting invasion, and exercising Negroes for defense. Best pilots procured upon fleet arrival, now 40 days since, hoping soon for account of reduction of Martinico or Guadaloupe.
