Mr. Editor—It may not be generally known to our citizens, that Mr. Cauldwell, a portrait painter who already has given abundant evidence of skill, has for several weeks been residing in town, ready to wait upon any who may choose to visit his collection. Room may be seen specimens of his penciling, which are stated, by those who have seen them, to be as correct as any before taken in town. A better opportunity is rarely presented to those who wish their own, or their friends' portraits, placed upon canvas.
