Extract of a Letter from Cracow, June 18.

"We have just received Advice here from Gnesen that the Prussian Troops in that City have seized the Treasure which was in the Cathedral, amounting to several 100,000 Ducats, and stripped the Tomb of St. Adalbert, which was plated over with Silver by Sigismund III. They have likewise removed those exquisite Gates to the Church which were made of Corinthian Brass, and formerly belonged to the Monastery at Corinth, in Taurica Chersonesus, but were brought to Gnesen by Boleslaus II. This Step of Prussia is beheld with much Astonishment."
