MOORS ACTING UP.

They Murder the Governor of Arzila for Revenge.

Tangier, Morocco, Sept. 30.—The governor of Arzila, who was the father-in-law of the former war minister, El Menebhi, has been murdered at Arzila by people of the surrounding tribes.

The murder was committed out of revenge for the action of the governor in imprisoning members of the tribes. The murderers released the prisoners at Arzila and killed many of the townspeople.

Great alarm prevails at Arzila, and the authorities there have appealed to Mohammed El Torrest, the representative at Tangier of the sultan, to send them assistance.
