Unemployment Claims Office Opens Here Monday
The part-time claims-taking office of the Alaska Employment Security Commission will be open regularly on Mondays and Tuesdays, from 8:30 to 12, and from 1 to 5 in the City Council Chambers.
Claimants who have been filing by mail have been notified of their reporting time, which it is very important to observe closely, states Mrs. Sally Avrit, who is here from the Juneau office to assist installation of the new office.
Others who wish to file new claims, or who have questions concerning the program, are requested to come in on Tuesday afternoons.
