Put Pennies Back In Circulation

Tuesday the voters of the Independent School District will go to the polls to ballot on a sales tax which will provide a swimming pool and playground for the new Kodiak school.
There is only one point to consider in this election: do the children of Kodiak need this equipment?
The answer is yes. And there is no other way to raise or obtain the money other than the sales tax.
Discount the fact that you don't like to handle pennies; discount the fact that the merchants don't want to bother with the reports: discount the fact that we "need roads" (this sales tax has nothing to do with the City of Kodiak finances.)
Remember only that this is something for the children of Kodiak who in the words of one teenager, "have no recreation here at all" and mark your ballot YES on Tuesday.
