STILL HARPING.--The Cincinnati Times says:

Since the day that Grant fought his first battle at Belmont, Missouri, we have been among his foremost admirers. When he was elected President of the United States we were more than gratified. Yet, for all this, we cannot say that we sanction his taking a National vessel to convey himself and his little "select" party to Long Branch and other pleasure resorts. One thousand dollars per day, these hard times, is entirely too steep, merely to add to the aristocratic appearances of the chief officer of a plain Republic.
