No Relief Politics Is Willson Warning

Fargo, N. D., March 8. (RP) The old system of handling relief through heads of political subdivisions must go and welfare work will have to be placed entirely in the hands of trained social workers if the government is to continue furnishing funds for this purpose, E. A. Willson, state FERA director, said at the annual meeting of the Cass county welfare organization here Thursday night.

"Before the federal government will release pension funds it will have to be assured they will be administered by trained workers and not used for political purposes," Willson said.
