According to Lt. Col R. W. Yoder, Encampment commander, the cadets lived two weeks of Air Force life.
2nd Lt. Luis Martinez McBean a senior Officer in the CAPUSAF. Attended the encampment. he served in Encampment Headquarters as Flight Tactical Officer. Lt. Mc Bean brought back two awards.
The Encampment award for the encampment & an Oaken leaf cluster to the Meritorious service award. Lt. McBean was the only officer from the Virgin Islands.
