Dresden, Sept. 14. M. de Dieden, Counsellor of Legation to his Highness Prince William, of Hesse Cassel, arrived here a few Days ago, to put the finishing Hand to the Convention, actually on the Tapis, relating to the Succession of Hanau, and has already had a private Audience of the King, who received him very favourably. Their Majesties set out the 12th Instant for Plinütz, to take the Diversion of a great Hunting Match which is prepared there; from thence the King will visit the Fortress of Königstein, which has been greatly repaired this Year. His Majesty has advanced Lieutenant-General Zieten to the Post of General of the Horse.

M. de Dieden, Counsellor of Legation to Prince William of Hesse Cassel, arrived in Dresden a few days ago to finalize the convention on the Succession of Hanau and had a private audience with the King, who received him favourably. Their Majesties departed on the 12th instant for Pillnitz for a great hunting match, after which the King will visit the repaired Fortress of Königstein. The King advanced Lieutenant-General Zieten to General of the Horse.
