LAST WEEK'S OMISSIONS.

Mr. Farnsworth,

The statement in your last paper, respecting a conversation, said to have taken place between a Middletown Judge and his Republican neighbor, is totally without foundation in truth. He has had no discourse with Wood, relative to Town-meeting, or any political subject, for six months past, if ever.
The person aimed at by the author of those false and defamatory assertions, feels himself superior to the low intrigues of party; and has never made a pecuniary offer to any person, in order to influence him in his suffrage.
