Important Will Case. Some years ago Miss Sylvia Ann Howland, of New-Bedford, a lady advanced in years, and Miss Hetty H. Robinson, a daughter of Miss Howland's sister, made an agreement that both should make their wills in favor of each other only, and that each should be the custodian of the will of the other. This arrangement was entered into that the father of Miss Robinson should not inherit a cent of the property of either, as both entertained unfriendly feelings towards him. In due time Miss Robinson married, becoming Mrs. Green, and Miss Howland died. After her death, another will was found, giving a large share of her property to other persons than Mrs. Green, who thereupon essays to break this latter will. The case has been in court two years, and now goes against Mrs. Green. What makes the matter interesting is the fact that Mrs. Green is already the richest woman in the United States, and that the litigated estate of Miss Howland is valued at two millions.
