Another Tragedy At Baltimore.—At Baltimore, on Saturday night, between 11 and 12 o'clock, as a youth about sixteen years of age, named James Robinson, was passing along Pine street in company with a young man, a party of youths at the corner of Fayette street assailed them with some abusive epithets. Robinson responded in terms somewhat similar, and started towards the party with an intention of demanding an explanation of their conduct. He had, however, advanced only a few steps forward, when one of the number drew a revolver and fired four shots in quick succession, after which the party fled with all practicable speed. One of the balls passed completely through the left arm of Robinson, while another, entering just above the left hip, lodged in the abdomen, where it yet remains. The offender, so far, remains undiscovered. The above deplorable occurrence is another fearful instance of the deadly results engendered by the too prevalent practice of wearing deadly weapons, and a law for its suppression, we hope, will speedily be passed by the approaching Legislature.—Baltimore Sun.
