Smiths Are to Locate.
Galveston, Texas, May 5.—About one-half page of the Tremont hotel register yesterday was occupied by members of the family of Smith.
There has never been any question that their names were legion, but this is the first time in the history of this hotel that so many of them have been registered on a single day. These Smiths hail from Cambridge, Ill., and they are going hereafter to make their home in Alta Loma, having found like many of their northern neighbors that there is room in Texas for those who desire to establish comfortable homes.
