STEAMBOAT LAUNCH.-The new steamboat Virginia, built at the Steamboat Yard of Capt. George Page, at the foot of 7th street, was launched on Saturday afternoon last at a few minutes past 5 o'clock. She went off in beautiful style, smoothly gliding into the liquid element without shock or jar. She is designed for the Rappahannock trade. and will run between Baltimore and Fredericksburg. We perceived, drawn up around the Captain's wharves, other boats built by this enterprising and energetic citizen. as the Union and the Custis. We were informed that the new steam ferry boat. the Union, has a capital engine already placed' on board, and she is generally so nearly ready that she will be placed on her line in a week or two.-Int.
