HARRISON IS TRANSFERRED
Lincoln Sheriff Is Put In Custody Of Fulton Official

WASHINGTON, Ga. - Judge E. T. Shurley of Warrenton issued an order here transferring W. S. Harrison sheriff of Lincoln county and his deputy R. L. Burgess, to Atlanta. Both officers are accused of murder in connection with the killing of Wayne and Frank Cullars of Lincoln, last Wednesday afternoon.

The sheriff and his deputies have been in custody of Sheriff Walton of Wilkes County, since the occurrence.

They were taken to Atlanta accompanied by Sheriff Jeff Sturdivant of Taliaferro County.

It is expected that the Lincoln county officers will remain in the custody of Sheriff Lowry of Fulton County until the trial. They are charged with murder on warrants sworn out by Tom Watson Cullars, brother of the dead men.
