Moonlight on the Lake.
The members of Kootenai lodge, Knights of Pythias, gave a moonlight dance on the lake Thursday evening, using for the purpose, the old Coeur d'Alene barge, which is especially fitted up for excursions and parties. The barge was in tow by the steam tug General Sherman. About one hundred couples participated in the pleasures of the evening and highly enjoyed the outing while gently gliding over the lake with merry dancers flitting to and fro to the strains of delightful music furnished by the Fourth infantry orchestra. A number of gentlemen and ladies were present from Post Falls and Rathdrum. The evening was most favorable for such an outing, being calm and cool enough to be pleasant.
