Belgrade, March 13. N. S. The Inhabitants of Kutfche having received Advice, that Mahomet Bashaw was marching with 7000 Turks to plunder and drive them out of the Country, to be revenged on them, because about 2 Years ago 700 well disciplined Men of their District took the Field under the Conduct of their Patriarch, they unanimously engaged, by Oath, with the Inhabitants of the neighbouring Places, to defend their Country the best they could; when they had done, the Enemy made an Incursion into it as far as Orlevopolia, but they marched against them, and attacked them in the Mountains in Front, Flank and Rear, with so much Bravery, that the Bashaw was killed on the Spot, and out of 2000 of his Men, only 70 escaped. Two Deputies came hither yesterday express with this News, and the same is confirmed by undry Letters.
