MRS. SMALL-FORD'S DENIAL.—Mrs. Loretta Small-Ford called at one of the newspaper offices in Richmond on Tuesday and made the following statement with reference to the publication that she was seeking a reconciliation with her husband, Stewart H. Ford, the parties being both plaintiffs and defendants in divorce proceedings now in the Law and Equity Court of that city: "I emphatically deny that any overtures have been made by me to bring about a reconciliation and the withdrawal of my proceedings against my husband for divorce. I am sure that none of my friends believed the report that I had taken any such step, but I desire to make this statement to remove any false impression that may exist as a result of the publication."
