T. A. Eaton had unpleasant experiences at the boxing contest held Friday night between Denver Jack Geyer and Harry Wuest. Eaton drove out to the arena at the fair ground, hitching up his black driving horse to his best buggy.

The fight over, Eaton left the arena to find his horse and return to the city. He says that he remembered the exact place where the animal was tethered. Arriving at that spot neither the animal nor the buggy could be found. Nor has it been found since then. The loser went to the police station Friday night and reported his loss. It cost Eaton just $254 to see the boxing contest up to this time.
