BIG BLAZE AT MANNING.

Mrs. M. E. Walker's Home Burned—Insurance $1,500.

Manning, October 2.—The home of Mrs. M. E. Walker, situated in the eastern edge of Manning, was totally destroyed by fire at 10:30 this morning. The building was a story and a half structure and was worth about $2,000. There was $1,500 insurance. The fire started upstairs by some unknown means. The furniture and other household effects were practically all saved. The house was occupied by Mrs. Walker and her son, Sinkler F. Walker, and his wife.
