Full Text

There are strong hopes that justice will yet be done in the Ferdinand Ward affair. United States District Attorney Dorsheimer says: "I have the names of all who made money out of Grant and Ward. None of that ill-gotten money belongs to the people who now hold it. If they do not return it of their own accord they will be compelled to do so. I am sure of my ground when I say that these people can be legally compelled to make restitution of every dollar." Mr. Dorsheimer is a lawyer of great ability and energy, and we believe that he will do what he says. Every honest man will wish him success in such a laudable work.
