There is a certain man in this city who claims to be a teacher of voice culture, whom the police might do well to look after. He is a man of about 5 feet, 8 inches, with red whiskers, and has methods which the public will not countenance when known. It is known that he approached a respectable young lady of this city, who is known to be thoroughly reliable and trustworthy, and in pretending to make an examination of her throat, took other liberties which the young lady resented. He, on being repulsed, attempted further liberties, and fortunately was thwarted by the appearance of friends of the young lady. The police can find further information by applying to the Age-Herald office.
