Venice, August 30. The Captain of a Ship arrived from Constantinople reports, that when he came away all Things were in the utmost Confusion: The Grand Signior's Authority was daily declining, his Orders were no longer respected, and the Faction of the Janizaries openly talked of dethroning him, and setting the Diadem on his Nephew's Head: So that we expect soon to receive the News of a grand Revolution in the Empire, or else a total Change of the pacific System that has so long prevailed there.
