John Boyle O'Reilly used to say that he had found the true fraternal spirit to exist at its best in convicts soldiers and journalist

Oxford Politician, philanthropist and scholar, he was besides an author, and published a poetical translation of the "Agamemnon of Aeschylus" and also of the"Odyssey"
