The Georgia Avenue School Family enjoy varied activities. The annual Fashion Tea was chaired by Mrs. Mildred T. Brown. Mrs. Mabel Sanford Lewis displayed a collection of fall hats.
Keen interest has been shown by students and teachers in the football team organized and coached by J.P. Sherwood. Three out of four games have been won. They won over E.C. Cleemnts at their Homecoming Game with a score of 26-0. Velma Solomon was crowned "Homecoming Queen".
Rehearsals have begun for the Christmas Pageant to take place Sunday December 18 at 4:30 P.M. with Mr. Barbara Cannon and Mrs. M.T. Brown directing.
Mrs. M.C. Hubert is Principal. Georgia Avenue School endeavors to fulfill its theme: "Meeting The Needs of Those we Serve."
