I have the pleasure to inform you that Com. They have on board upwards of two hundred soldiers to assist them, but we expect more men every moment. We have here two sloops, the President, (store-ship) of 2 guns, with the Montgomery, (victualling-vessel) of 3 guns, which makes the whole force we have on this Lake. I have just received orders from the Commodore, to send the first men that arrive here to him at Plattsburgh."
