New York Ready for Another Trial.

Mr. Hand, the compass adjuster landed from the cruiser New York, which has been on a trial trip at sea in all the rough weather at Lewes, Del, yesterday afternoon. He reported all well on board and stated that the representatives of the builders are highly elated over the splendid way in which the ship has so far acted. In the run down the bay she proved exceedingly fast and out at sea in terribly rough weather demonstrated conclusively that she is a good sea boat. The machinery worked splendidly in every part. Mr Hand adjusted the compasses at sea on Wednesday and the ship is ready for her trial. The course and duration of which will depend entirely on the weather.
