While paying a visit North last week we had the supreme pleasure of attending a genuine house warming, given by Mr. H. B. Hodgins, who celebrated the event of his moving into a fine and beautiful home.

There were about thirty couple in attendance, and the festivities of the evening commenced at six and lasted until five the next morning. A splendid collation was served, and all the guests enjoyed themselves hugely. The music was unsurpassed, and both the honored host and family vied with each other in making this the event of the season.

Mr. H. B. Hodgins lives about one mile below what is known as Jerusalem, and is an extensive farmer, who by energy, frugality and temperance has built him a home, and secured one of the finest farms in the country. The "bone and sinew" of the country represented, were as fine a collection of healthy grangers, as you would see in any country, and we hope the happy couple will live to enjoy many as social a party.
