Nisei Boy Scouts to Appear in Movie
Slated for Showing at World Jamboree
LOS ANGELES, Calif., April 29—A full-length picture starring Clifton Webb is being made by 20th Century Fox, featuring brief appearances of scouts from Troop 379 of Koyasan Betsuin, reported George Waki, troop committee member.
Waki has sent some Nisei scouts to play bit parts to the studio.
The vehicle, temporarily entitled "Be Prepared", will have Webb in the role of a scoutmaster.
The picture is expected to be released sometime in the summer in conjunction with the World Scout Jamboree slated in July at Irvine Ranch in Santa Ana.
