YESTERDAY there was a full board of Admiralty, when several new appointed officers attended, and received their commissions with orders to repair on board their respective ships.
A son of General Gage is appointed Lieutenant of the Royal Fusileers, commanded by Major General Prescott.
Orders are given for completing the 6th and 54th regiments of foot, lately arrived from America, to their full establishment.
Clothing for non-commissioned officers and men were not put in the fore ships that sailed with the fleet for New-York.
Yesterday expresses were sent off to Portsmouth for the immediate sailing of the ships bound to Quebec, &c. under convoy of two of his Majesty's frigates, waiting only a short time for the transports with the German troops, which are getting ready to sail with them.
Another fleet of transports for New-York consisting of vessels from Scotland and the Thames, which were too late for the last fleet at Spithead.
Orders are gone down to Portsmouth for the crews of the ships destined for that service, to be completed from the German ships and other men of war now at that port, that they may be ready to sail at the shortest notice.
