Indian Craftsmen Being Interviewed

Southwestern Indian centers were visited this week by two representatives of the University of Arizona's College of Fine Arts.

Purpose of the visits were to interview possible candidates for the college's Southwestern Indian Arts and Crafts projects to be held this summer in Tucson.

Andreas Andersen, head of the University's art department will interview candidates among promising young Indian artists and craftsmen in New Mexico, Arizona, and Oklahoma. The project sponsored by the Rockefeller Foundation can accommodate 25 students.
