The following Candid Questions, are taken from a Boston Paper.
CAN there be any propriety in a people fitting and praying, meeting solemn Addresses to Heaven, for deliverance from the oppression of their enemies while at the same time, they are wantonly practicing the vilest oppression upon one another?
Have the government acted with proper spirit and vigor, for putting a Stop to that oppression among ourselves which is so notoriously prevalent, which is of such baneful influence; and which bears an aspect the most direful threatening?
