Choose Delegates Who Will Support C. D. Newell for County Attorney.
Richmond, Me., July 24.—(Special.)—At the Republican caucus at Town hall, Saturday afternoon, Noble Maxwell was renominated as candidate for representative to the Legislature. Newell delegates were chosen to attend the county convention at Bath, August 3, to support him for county attorney, the vote being 84 to 16. Perfect harmony prevailed in the caucus. Judge W. T. Hall presided. Edwin Totman acting as secretary.
Judge Hall, the present judge of probate, will be renominated without opposition. Following are the delegates to the convention: Noble Maxwell, W. A. Bibber, W. E. Whitney, Edwin Totman, R. T. Young.
