Additional LIST of French Men of War.

The St. Michael, 64 Guns. La Latona Frigate, 32 Guns.

N. B. These two Ships Rode two Days at St. Jago to Water, proceeded afterwards for the Coast of Africa, to join the above Squadron, they were met by a Portuguese off Cape Palmas, who they informed they were bound directly for the Coast of Angola. The first mentioned Men of War past Cape Coast, after firing Several Broad sides at the Castle, but did no Damage.

Jan. 24th and the 27th they took Capts. Taylor, Johnson, and Clark of Rhode-Island; and the Day before they cut out Capt. Moulton's Sloop, with one of their Launches, the Sloop lying close under Anamaboe Castle.
