CATO.
There is lots of sickness around here....J. E. Hogan spent last Thursday and Friday in Little Rock buying goods....Mrs. Pairet went to Little Rock last Thursday to see her little boy, Fred....Carl Clements made two trips to Little Rock last week....J. A. Burgin has built a new room to his dwelling....J. E. Hogan has his house about completed....Governor Robinson and Dr. Carmichael of Little Rock came out last Saturday to hunt birds with Dr. Pairet. They killed lots of birds and had a good time....Aunt Kate Winkler from across the hill is visiting at W. D. Springer's....W. D. Springer, W. A. Farris and Mrs. Pairet went to Little Rock in Mr. Springer's automobile last Thursday....The picture man is still here....The groundhog failed to see his shadow Sunday, so we hope to have an early spring....Bro. Johnson preached here Sunday and Sunday night....Mrs. Bob Hooks visited her mother, Mrs. Haynie, near Faulkner Gap last Thursday and Friday....We are glad to see Bob Hooks able to be out again....T. B. Proctor has added a hardware room to his store....Dr. Pairet & Son have a nice drug store now....Bro. Johnson and wife spent the day at C. C. Clement's Sunday...Mrs. Daisy Clements visited her sister, Mrs. Clark, one day last week....The Woodmen Circle will meet here next Saturday, February 8. All of the members are invited to come. They will meet at 1 o'clock p. m....The W. O. W. will meet here next Saturday night, February 8....J. J. Diffee and Dave Hooks went to Little Rock today...It is raining, sleeting and snowing here today.
