Drouth Office Gets Wet In Peculiar Way

REDWOOD FALLS -- When a drouth relief office gets drenched -- it must be news. It all came about in a peculiar way. Over the drouth relief office at the courthouse is the woman's washroom. Mysteriously, sometime after the ERA program increased the courthouse force, signs appeared bearing the words "no smoking." This may be irrelevant. Anyway Tuesday someone tried to use the lavatory for a chair. It protested by breaking off, allowing the water to rush forth. Before the janitor was located, the water had soaked through to the office below.
