REV. DENZIL A. CARTY
On the 14th Sunday after Trinity, the Holy Eucharist reverted back to the regular time 11:00 A.M.
Mid-week Wednesday services will resume at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 12th.
Church School will open officially next Sunday morning at 11:00. Choir rehearsal every Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m.
Special prayers were said for the recovery of the sick including Mr. Sydney Salter who is recuperating in St. Joseph's Hospital from eye surgery.
Father Carty went to Shattuck School at Faribault for a Clergy Conference on Wednesday and Thursday.
Father Carty requested the various guilds and organizations of the church to make plans for their corporate communions and coffee sips on Sunday mornings.
The Service of Missionary Witness, a project of the St. Paul Deanery, has been set for Sunday, November 4, at 4:30 p.m. in the Theatre Section of the St. Paul Auditorium. It is the hope of the Deanery that every Episcopalian family will be present for this service. The preacher will be the Bishop of Brazil The Rt. Rev. Louis C. Melcher.
A new acolyte group will be starting with the fall program. Confirmed younger boys will be trained to serve on the altar.
