IN ALIENATION CASE
The jury in the superior court here on Tuesday morning in the case in which John Paracenti was suing Peter Ceccarelli for $10,000 on the claim that the defendant had alienated the affections of the plaintiff's wife was unable to reach a verdict after considering the case for half an hour. They had had it under consideration for an hour and a half last Wednesday afternoon.
When they reported their inability to agree Tuesday morning Judge W.M. Maltbie excused them from further consideration of the case.
It was reported that they took two ballots, the first standing 8 to 4 and the second 10 to 2 for the defendant.
