American Occurrences.

HALIFAX, May 8.

YESTERDAY arrived the Thynne Packet, Capt. Wolf, from Falmouth, which place he left the 6th ult. In the Thynne came passengers, Lord Viscount Mountmorres, Col. Smith, late Secretary to Mr. Adams, the American Ambassador, with several other passengers on their way to New-York.—In this vessel has arrived the new act of Parliament, lately brought forward by Mr. Grenville, for regulating the trade with America: we have not been able to procure a copy of it; or we should have inserted it in this day's paper.—The papers brought by the Thynne are no later than the first of April.
