THE LATEST FENCE CUTTING.
Complaint was filed in Justice R. W. Davis' court, yesterday, by J. W. Garrison against Robert Nichols, for maliciously cutting and destroying his fence. Nichols is now in jail, having been arrested and lodged there by Constable Lee Jenkins, on Thursday. The prisoner has not made application for an examining trial and no bond has been fixed in his case as yet. Nichols seems, from what the reporter could gather, to have the sympathy of his neighbors in his trouble, as he was under the influence of liquor at the time he is said to have done the cutting, and when sober he went and assisted to repair the damage.
