BIG WEDDING MAY HAVE RAINY TIME

BRUSSELS, Nov. 2—(AP).-November's rainy weather-the "Drache Nationale" as the natives call it-is said to hold no terror for Prince Astrid of Sweden, who will marry Crown Prince Leopold.

"Happy the bride whose nuptial bouquet is wet from the rain" is an old Swedish saying.

"The daughter of the Vikings likely will be greeted by rain drops when she and her husband, united by civil ceremony in Stockholm, next Thursday return to Brussels later for the religious ceremonies. Records show that during the last ten years there has been rain in Brussels on twenty days out of the thirty each November.

Another Swedish proverb recommends that the bride insert into her wedding gown some branches of an aromatic plant, to protect her against the evil mountain spirits. Belgium is a flat country. Its highest mountain would be called a hill in Astrid's native Sweden.
