We learn from Hereford, Province of Canada, that on the 15th August last, the following melancholy accident happened at that place.--

As Mr. J. Bradley and a lad were felling trees, they lodged a number; and moving towards the tops of the lodged trees, in order to fell those on which they rested, a sudden gust of wind disengaged one of them, Mr. Bradley, perceiving the impending danger, endeavored to escape--but in vain.--The tree struck him on the head, and immediately put an end to his existence.--

Mr. Bradley was in the 59th year of his age; of good reputation--and much esteemed by his acquaintance. He has left a wife and one small child to lament his untimely fate.
