The elegiack stanzas from a fair correspondent in B-., beginning "I now sit down to rite," are received-but various considerations incline us to the opinion that some one of the graver periodicals would be a more suitable vehicle for her lamentations. If the following quotation will avail anything in giving vent to the inexpressible grief of our fair and sorrowing friend, the room which they occupy is entirely at her service:
